What Is it?
Welcome to Passenger Seat Radio! Join Shane R. Monroe (Retrogaming Radio, Dual Screen Radio) for his thirteen mile commute to work where you're in the passenger seat for the most uncensored, unfiltered, "unproduced" and remarkably entertaining podcast on the internet.
There is no topic safe from Shane's tirades; be it politics to overweight women wearing skin-tight clothes - Shane has an opinion on it all. Whether you agree with him or not, you're bound to enjoy the unique-yet-sometimes-warped rantings and musings of Shane R. Monroe. Did you ever ... think ferret health issues could be entertaining? Believe billboards could be an interesting topic? Wish you could squirt cat urine on rude smokers?
Shane chronicles his life (past and present) with the venerable stories that kept his other radio shows popular for over a decade; spelunking (aka trespassing) in an abandoned mine, hooking up with a 24-year old model when he was 17, shooting off fireworks under the city bridge (and getting arrested), nearly going insane in Navy Nuclear Power School, his encounter with a demon, being driven by bullies to point a .22 rifle at a kid's head when he was ten, surviving on government cheese with a single mom - and sometimes he'll just tell you the horrors of raising two teenage girls in a society that demands them be sluts and whores.
The show has been online since early 2008 and spans nearly 300 episodes. The show runs 30-45 minutes typically with "special episodes" running up to 4 or 5 hours.
