So my boss, whom I don't actively dislike but don't want to be friends with either, has added me to his G+ circles and responds to my Youtube comments that I forget to set not to post on G+. You guys think that's a bit.... weird? I really don't like when co-workers in general track me down on social media without being asked to do so. It makes things a bit awkward if you don't respond in kind.

Yeah, that is a bit, shall we say, abnormal. I do my best to keep my personal and work life separate when it comes to social media. Maybe we are just the abnormal ones.

This the reason I don't use my real name on social networks. There are too many eyes watching. Not just trolls but employers and even your own government. I really miss the days of forums. While we all hid behind pseudonyms, it wasn't truly anonymous as we all had real identities here. A place to freely express your thoughts without fear of being hacked or doxxed. The internet as we knew it is truly gone.
