About what would happen if there was no more electricity and things of that sort... about 98% of baby boomers, gen X'ers, AND millennials would be absolutely fucked. Not a whole lot of people know the first thing about electricity, much less how to grow their own food. But if you want to survive in an environment like that, the first thing you want to do is buy a gun and learn how to shoot it. Because if you don't, even if you can make it to the cabin in the woods, if someone with a gun finds it, they're going to put your dick in the dirt, and then live in your cabin while you push up daisies. As for cursive, I did some Googling on the subject and it seems that whether or not this is still needed is a hotly debated topic. I think a lot of people want to keep it around for no other reason than 'Well, that's the way WE did it ...' As for me, I'm 40 years old and other than signing my name, I haven't been required to write anything in cursive since I got out of school. If I got a job today that required cursive, I'd have to practice for a bit before I could write it legibly again If they're going to keep it around, I think they should move it to an art class and treat it as calligraphy.

I always write in cursive. I always have since I was taught to. I only print if I want to make it easier to read for some reason.
